Heavy Rain Likely in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim Provinces

Kathmandu: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecasted generally cloudy weather across the country with light to moderate rain occurring in various regions due to the active Monsoon winds.
This afternoon, the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, with heavy rain likely in one or two locations in Koshi, Bagmati, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Tonight, the weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Additionally, heavy rain is expected in one or two places in Koshi, Madhes, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The weather bulletin released by the Department this morning indicates that the next 24 hours will see partly to mostly cloudy weather across the country.
